is a non-profit institution whose main aim is to improve the participation of all
agents of the Valencian Community in the policies and actions of the European Union and to divulge this information among public administrations, chambres of comerce, financial entities, technological
institutes, universities, business federations, NGOs, town councils, civil associations, and the Valencian society as a whole.
Training programme and scholarships
The ‘Fundación Comunidad Valenciana-Región Europea’
pursues a training programme for young valencian professionals enabling them to carry out
practical trainings at the institution’s headquartes in Brussels. This programme includes
the establishment of agreements with different public and private scholarship programmes
through which young professionals of different trades can gain workexperience at the Foundation.
For this purpose, the FEPORTS scholarships have been introduced, by means of which the ‘Fundación
Comunidad Valenciana-Región Europea’ will train young professionals from the maritime transport and
port sector in order to improve foreign trade management and to foment commercial and industial
activities related to maritime port traffic.
Consultancy services
This service is avalaible to the public through the Foundation’s webpage

as well as to private individuals who wish to make specific inquiries. Moreover,
the Foundation provides legal monitoring on Communitary matters that may affect
public or private entities in the Valencian Community. The institution carries
out a detailed audit of the Community legislative process and provides legal
advice, as well as information about EU’s financial aid programmes for projects,
subsidies, public biddings and business opportunities in general.
European projects
The Foundation provides orientation
to public and private entities on the presentation of European projects.
Its services also include technical revision of proposals, search for
partners and scheduling of meetings with EC officials to present projects.
Additionnaly, it offers its office and infrastructure in Brussels for the
organization of seminars and the presentation of approved projects.
Within its region marketing strategy,
the Foundation promotes the rediffusion at a European scale, of the results of projects
developed by entities of the Valencian Community. The diffusion services include sending
newsletters to the more than 1.500 correspondents in Brussels, organizing presentations for
professionals and media, and internet banner exhange through its webpage.

Culture
The ‘Fundación Comunidad Valenciana-Región Europea’ has developed a cultural
programme that aims to support and promote young Valencian artists internationally. Various
acts and exhibitions are being organized to promote the work of contemporary artists that
are part of Valencia’s cultural scene, and social and historical legacy. The foundation
also organizes events in other cultural centres and institutions and art galleries, as well
as in European institutions such as the European Parliament and its different headquarters
(Brussels, Luxembourg and Strassbourg) and the Comittee of the Regions.
