SIMPYC Project

An analysis of the initial situation in order to evaluate the environmental condition of the municipal and port areas and programme the main environmental management guidelines. To this end, the following actions are to be carried out:

1.- An environmental diagnosis of the municipality in order to determine the current situation of each of the cities participating in the project (Toulon, Valencia and Livorno).

1.1.- Identification of the environmental, socio-economic and municipal organisation factors that intervene in port-city relationships.

1.2.- Technical Diagnosis of the municipalities (identification of information sources, search for information, field of work, drafting of reports, development of information support tools, etc.).

1.3.- Qualitative diagnosis: creation of surveys aimed at the interested parties, with the aim of identifying the main environmental problems perceived by the local populations.

1.4.- Creation of a Municipal Environmental Diagnosis report

2.-Environmental diagnosis of the participating ports (Toulon, Livorno, Valencia, Denia and Villajoyosa), in order to determine the current situation of each. For each port:

2.1.- Determine the environmental, socio-economic and port organisation factors that intervene in port-city relationships.

2.2.- Technical Diagnosis of the Port

2.3.- Qualitative diagnosis: creation of surveys aimed at the interested parties, with the objective of identifying the main environmental problems perceived by the local populations.

2.4.- Creation of a Port Environmental Diagnosis report
