The City Council and the Port Authority present their Environmental Notebooks at Expojove

From 26 December to 4 January 2008, the Valencia Trade Fair will host the 26th Expojove, an event for the very young which provides an interactive forum for demonstrating how the different organisms of the city of Valencia work such as the Fire brigade, the Police, …etc. It also teaches them about environmental and cultural issues in a way that is both educational and enjoyable through workshops, theatre, and performances to allow children to learn while they play.

Both the City Council and the Valencia Port Authority have presented their Environmental Notebooks at the event, an initiative which is in line with one of Simpyc’s main objectives: to create awareness of the need for environmental friendliness. The notebooks provide an opportunity to learn through play, colouring in etc. This demonstrates the collaboration which exists between the Administrations to draw the public and port areas closer together by involving the general public, principally the very young, which is in line with the spirit of the project.
