The Project will be carried out in three European cities with and comercial ports: Valencia (Spain), Toulon (France) and Livorno (Italy). This trilateral approach will enable all the experience and knowledge obtained through the project in every one of the ports individually, to be shared and applied immediately by the other two partners.

At the same time, a line of action will be determined upon in order to tackle the problems associated with the port-city integration at Mediterranean commercial, fishing or leisure ports in small municipalities. At this level, the project aims to implement an Environmental Management Model in this type of port facilities in accordance with the principles outlined in the local Agenda 21. The small fishing and leisure ports of Denia and Villajoyosa (Alicante, Spain) will participate as pilot ports in this area of the project.
