03/01/08 ISO 14001 Certification in the Port of Denia

After implementing an Eco-management System in the pilot ports of Denia and Villajoyosa, and after certification of the port of Villajoyosa last August, the entity which manages these ports, the Regional Department for Infrastructure and Transport, also achieved ISO 14001 certification for the port of Denia in December.

Also, an Implementation Guide for Eco-management Systems in ports of similar characteristics has been finished and will be published this month.
