17/10/07 Developing an Integrated Balanced Scorecard

As a continuation of the development of a System of Environmental Indicators, an Integrated Balanced Scorecard was developed to integrate the system into organisational structure, distributing responsibilities and tasks which involve the Port and the City Council.

Once the indicators had been established (a total of ten in relation to air, noise, visual impact and social perception), the structure of the balanced scorecard was determined showing the departments involved in developing each indicator, those responsible for providing the information required for developing them and optimum communication channels between the different people involved.

Once the balanced scorecard has been completed, the System is implemented and a revision made of each study area.
