06/02/08 A Commitment is signed for Co-ordinated Action in Port-City Environmental Integration between Ports and City Councils
An Environmental Action Programme has been designed within the framework of the Simpyc Project which establishes a model for agreement between administrations in co-ordinating the environmental aspects arising from in port-city relations.
After studies were carried out by the Department of Administrative Law of the University of Valencia on the different models for creating collaboration agreements between the ports and city councils of Livorno, Toulon and Valencia, each area determined the type of agreement to be signed between the administrations. The different commitments between the municipal and port administrations of the three cities involved in the project have been signed this month.
